Dr Michael Korb began his career at The University of Witwatersrand Dental School Johannesburg in 1977 before joining the Medical Corps as an Army Dental Officer. Since then, he has gained more than 30 years’ experience as a dentist in both South Africa and the UK.
Michael set up The Dental Health Centre 28 years ago and has seen the dental profession undergo some exciting changes during this time. Not a man to stand still, he is passionate about providing patients at The Dental Health Centre in Ilford, Essex with the latest techniques in cosmetic dentistry and restorative dentistry. With this in mind, Michael regularly attends courses to keep his skills and knowledge – as well as those of his team – at the forefront of this rapidly changing field.
As patients are increasingly keen to combine good oral health with ways to improve their appearance, Michael has broadened the remit of the practice to offer both General Dentistry and Cosmetic Dentistry in Essex. The Dental Health Centre now treats more than 5,000 patients and has a long lasting relationship with these built on trust and exceptional quality of care.|
Michael has an interest in cosmetic and restorative dentistry and has worked extensively with cosmetic teeth whitening, veneers and crowns. He is a full member of The British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
Michael has been married to Jennifer for the last 30 years. They have two children – Debbie, a solicitor, and Laura, a medical student. The family lives in Chigwell and Michael has played a key role in local community life over the years.
