| If you have a chipped or slightly damaged
tooth you may require a dental veneer, especially if it’s
at the front of your mouth. A cosmetic dental veneer is a very thin
layer of tooth-coloured material, such as porcelain, which
is used to ‘smooth over’ a chipped or slightly
damaged tooth.
Once it’s in place, a dental veneer is practically
invisible to the naked eye and your tooth won’t feel
any different. It’ll simply protect your tooth from
any more damage and give you a more confident and flattering
smile. Veneers can also be used to ‘close’ small
gaps between teeth.
