Teeth that are seriously damaged or broken will benefit from a dental crown fitted over them. The crown will enhance your smile and protect what is left of your existing, natural tooth. Dental crowns are also known as caps.
Whether you are restoring teeth that have been damaged by trauma or decay, your crown will be natural looking and custom made to fit in with your individual teeth at our on-site laboratory. Choose from the cosmetic porcelain crowns or more hard wearing crowns on the molar teeth at the back of the mouth.

During your consultation with your dentist, your dentist will assess the damage to the tooth that requires a crown and will ask you what sort of cosmetic dental crown you’d like, taking into account aesthetics and price.
Your tooth will be prepared to receive the crown. Some enamel will be removed to make the space needed and an impression will be taken. The impression will be used to create the custom made crown, which will then be bonded to the tooth using dental cement. You may be offered a temporary crown to wear until your permanent crown has been made.
Before & After
Fix seriously damaged or broken teeth.
A local anaesthetic will be used to ensure the least possible discomfort during the fitting of the crown.
Crowns can last for more than nine years if they are properly cared for. Your dentist will advise you on how to best keep them clean and safe.
A white crown will be colour matched to your existing teeth. Those which are made of porcelain, look just like natural teeth. It’s highly likely nobody will notice you’re wearing a crown.
