Implant Supported Dentures
Having several teeth missing can be problematic. The more you lose, the more uncomfortable eating and speaking may become. Implant supported dentures will not just allow you to eat a wider range of food and transform your smile, but also stop your face from ageing prematurely in a way that is associated with traditional removable dentures.
Our dentures consist of a dental plate with false teeth attached, which is anchored into your mouth with implants. They look natural, they’re fitted securely and they’re comfortable to wear.

- Natural looking.
- Won’t fall out.
- Custom-made for your mouth.
- Comfortable to wear.
- Made in house at our laboratory.
- Fitted by highly trained dentists.
The sooner you can have an implant fitted after having lost a tooth, or having had a tooth removed, generally speaking, the better the results. Firstly your dentist will assess the health and strength of your jawbone to determine whether or not you are a good candidate for implants.
Once this has been confirmed and your implant has been created, it will be placed in your jawbone. A temporary crown will be added. This will remain in place for a few months, until it’s time for a permanent crown to be fitted. With as few as 4 implants, a full arch of replacement teeth can be attached to your mouth. The implants must be carefully placed in order to provide effective support.
FAQ's
You will have a local anaesthetic before the procedure begins in order to cause you the least possible discomfort.
If you look after them well, implants will last for many years. They have been known to last for up to 40 years.
Unlike traditional dentures, an implant is fitted into your jawbone. This helps support the muscles in your cheeks and prevent your jawbone from receding. Traditional denture wearers are often associated with shrunken lips, because the lack of teeth has caused their profile to change in this way. Implants will prevent your appearance from becoming prematurely aged. You won’t need an implant to replace every tooth. Just 4-6 implants is enough to support your dentures.
