Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update

We are now open and have the appropriate measures in place to keep our patients and staff as safe as possible.

Tooth Coloured Fillings

Teeth that have been damaged by tooth decay may require a filling to restore them to their natural state. The fillings we supply are hard wearing and discreet, because we match them to your natural tooth colour. We will restore your damaged tooth back to its original shape. As less tooth needs to be removed in preparation for a white coloured filling, your treatment will be quick and more comfortable for you, compared to treatment using a traditional silver filling.

We colour match and fit white tooth coloured fillings in your mouth in the same visit at our practice. White fillings restore damaged teeth whilst complementing and enhancing your smile.

Tooth Coloured Fillings
    • Fillings prevent further damage to your teeth.
    • Colour matched to your tooth colour.
    • Made from composite, our fillings are discreet and hard wearing.
    • Fast, efficient and comfortable treatment.
    • Bonded using the latest bonding technique.

When you have a dental filling, the dentist will gently remove the decay and prepare the remaining tooth. The cavity is cleaned out to remove all debris.

A dental liner is then inserted followed by the filling. The tooth will be cleaned and polished. We close ‘black triangles’ in the mouth using the revolutionary BioClear method.

Before & After

Tooth coloured fillings enhance both your smile and the health of your teeth.

Does it hurt?

The dentist will give you an anaesthetic prior to the procedure so that the treatment isn’t painful. You will feel the tooth preparation in your mouth but it won’t hurt. Your teeth might feel more sensitive following treatment and this heightened sensitivity can last for up to 2 weeks.

How do I look after my fillings?

You simply need to maintain good dental hygiene by brushing your teeth twice a day and attending regular dental and hygienist checkups.

Do I need to replace my fillings?

Some fillings do need to be replaced over time. If your tooth becomes sensitive or you have toothache, cracks or jagged edges, there’s a chance your filling has cracked and needs to be repaired.
